Cupmen, human-shaped figures made of colourful plastic, are Akira Mabuchi’s contribution to the “Design 100” exhibition. They are designed to hold down the cover of an instant ramen noodle cup while it cooks for 3 minutes, changing colour in response to the change in temperature. This event invites you to try out Cupmen with real cup noodles to spoil your dinner. While you enjoy ramen, program officer Toshi Aoyagi will present videos and images of other creations from Mabuchi and his brand +d, as well as other design products in “Design 100”.

Reservations are now closed for ramen, but you are welcome to join us just to watch the presentation.
