Greetings and Konnichiwa,
Spring has come and gone since the last time we saw visitors to our centre. Thanks to the concerted effort of Ontarians, the province has safely entered Stage 2. The Japan Foundation, Toronto is excited to reopen our doors after four long months.
We are delighted to welcome you back. As the safety of our patrons and staff are our foremost priority, for the time being, only our library and gallery will be accessible to the public. We will continue to hold the rest of our activities online, including Japanese language classes, film screenings, lectures, and teachers’ workshops.
As Ontario heads into Stage 3, the Japan Foundation, Toronto will remain diligent about reducing the risk of exposure to COVID-19. We are taking every precaution to sanitize exposed surfaces at the centre and are closely following the safety and health guidelines provided by the City of Toronto. Before you make your way to our centre, please refer to our new hours as well as our visitor guidelines.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. We look forward to engaging you in person and to celebrate our 30th-year anniversary with you.
See you soon,
