Registration is now open for the 2nd Japan Bowl Ontario. The event will be held at Huron University College, London Ontario on Saturday, March 9th, 2019.
Japan Bowl Ontario is a Japanese language and culture competition focusing on high school students in Ontario. It is inspired and supported by the Japan Bowl® in the United States which was created by the Japan-America Society of Washington DC in 1992.
Japan Bowl Ontario is not an exam, but a game show. It asks students about their knowledge of Japanese culture, society, daily life, history, geography, and current events. Participants compete as members of 3-person teams. Questions are all in English. There will be a preliminary round in the morning and a final round in the afternoon. There will be also a Japanese cultural event during lunch break. We hope that this competition in Ontario will be a great opportunity for participants to meet each other.
Entry Period: Monday, January 14th to Friday, February 22nd, 2019.
We sincerely hope that your students would participate in this event! Should you have any questions, please feel free to contact us at email@example.com.
