Our Intermediate course, and will cover the B1 level of the JF Standard. During this course students will work towards the following goals:
- Can understand the main points on familiar matters regularly encountered in work, school, leisure, etc.
- Can deal with most situations likely to arise whilst travelling in an area where the language is spoken.
- Can produce simple connected text on topics, which are familiar, or of personal interest.
- Can describe experiences and events, dreams, hopes & ambitions and briefly give reasons and explanations for opinions and plans.
The Can-do Check from the JF Standard used in the Marugoto: Japanese Language and Culture textbooks allow the learners to continually measure their progress and keep a record of what they are able to do in Japanese. This approach to learning helps to assess ability and set up clear goals, which further leads to effective learning.
