JFT Online Teacher-Support Japanese Language Courses: Late-Elementary (JF Standard A2-2)

Our Late-Elementary course, and will cover the second half of the A2 level of the JF Standard. During this course students will work towards the following goals:

  • Can understand sentences and frequently used expressions related to areas of most immediate relevance (e.g. basic personal preference, shopping, point of interest in local area, community involvement, etc.)
  • Can communicate in simple and routine tasks requiring a simple and direct exchange of information on familiar and routine matters.
  • Can describe in simple terms aspects of their background, immediate environment and mattes in areas of immediate need.

We strongly recommend students in our Teacher-Support register for an account with JF Japanese e-Learning Minato, as their comprehensive courses provide everything you need to succeed! Late-Elementary (A2-2) will cover the following courses on Minato:

  • KANJI Memory Hint 3 (iOS | Google Play Android | Amazon): An app for studying the kanji introduced specifically in the Late-Elementary (A2-2) textbooks.

Class Size: The class size of our Teacher-Support Late-Elementary (A2-2) course is limited to 20 students.

Late-Elementary (A2-2) Course Fees: Each term (Fall, Winter, Spring) costs $90. (Completing the entire course from September to July will cost $270.)
*Payment is accepted only on a Term by Term basis.

Once a student has registered in the course and their registration has been confirmed they will be sent a Square invoice (please refer to the registration process). A student’s position in the course is only confirmed once full payment has been received.

Registration for 2021-22 courses will open at 12:00 pm EDT on Thursday, August 5, 2021.

To ensure a smooth processing of your application we recommend registering no later than 2 weeks before the start of the term.
